Pest control, spraying, baiting, exclusion work, and other pesticide application services, does not appear as a permitted activity in the City of Tucson Planning & Development Services Department's building-permit system, and the same holds for Pima County Development Services for properties in unincorporated areas of the county, common in Tucson's foothills and outlying neighborhoods. That is expected: permit systems cover construction-trade activities, and pesticide application is not one of them.
